The opening of the event series actualised by the support of independent film enterprise Başka Sinema and BKM (Beşiktaş Cultural Center) was performed by the film “Mustang” which had its World premiere at 68th Cannes Film Festival last May, causing great excitement with its Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.
Bağımsız sinema girişimi Başka Sinema ve BKM’nin (Beşiktaş Kültür Merkezi) desteğiyle gerçekleşen etkinlik dizisinin açılışı, Dünya prömiyerini geçtiğimiz Mayıs ayında 68. Cannes Film Festivali’nde yapan, Altın Küre ve Oscar ödülleri adaylığıyla heyecan yaratan ‘Mustang’ filmi ile gerçekleşti.
Within the scope of this event that will continue until mid-September, you may watch movies such as The Program, a film telling the life story of the famous biker Lance Armstrong, Sarmaşık which attained great success at Altın Portakal Film Festival and The Neon Demon which aroused great interest this year at many international festivals.
